Real Madrid fan running on field records footage on Vine

NSFW    Crazed soccer fan and "Idiot on the Field" Zack filmed an extended video of himself rushing the pitch during Saturday's Real Madrid-Inter Milan match in St. Louis and taking video selfies with Kaká and Sergio Ramos, leading Deadspin to refer to him as a game-changer among such idiots.

In today's The Locker Room we salute this strange breed of crazed fan. Individuals evidently incredibly eager to spend the night in jail.

While it's not at all a new phenomenon, as Deadspin points out, a new trend has emerged among these 'Idiots on the Field': capturing their boneheaded stunts on Twitter's video sharing service Vine.

In an achievement described as game-changing, Steve Jobs-like Zack recorded a lengthy video of himself as he pranced around the pitch at Edward Jones Dome, seemingly unnoticed by security, and recorded video selfies with the likes Real Madrid's Kaká and Sergio Ramos.

A wink from Ramos led to what Zack called the 'best day ever', noting, according to Deadspin [mistakes in original]:

"Oh and they didnt do much I got cuffed and walked to the jail cell there.. And on my way Ramos said yahh when I was looking at the ground and then when I looked up he winked at me it was the best day ever !"

Los Blancos dominated the pre-season game with a comprehensive victory over the Nerazzurri. Real coasted to a 3-0 victory over an uninspired Inter.

Zack took seized his opportunity after the game's final goal during the second half and wasn't the only fan to dash onto the field and hug and interact with Real Madrid players.
